Annual Scholarship Recipient From Shrewsbury Library Announced
This annual scholarship benefits a Shrewsbury resident.
SHREWSBURY, MA—The Friends of the Shrewsbury Public Library announced the recipient of their 2018 Scholarship.
Maya McCollum, a Shrewsbury resident and a 2018 graduate of Shrewsbury High School, has been awarded the 2018 Friends of the Shrewsbury Public Library Scholarship in the amount of $1,500. McCollum will be attending the Commonwealth Honors College at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in the fall and will study economics.
The Friends of the Library is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the constant support of the library and special events.
