How To Get A Free Shrewsbury Trash Pickup
The town is giving every household the chance to throw away one bag of trash without using a Shrewsbury bag.
SHREWSBURY, MA — You'll need one of these after opening gifts on Christmas.
Shrewsbury is giving every household in the town the chance to throw out a single bag of trash the week of Dec. 27. Usually, residents have to use a branded pay-as-you-throw bag.
"Pay As You Throw (PAY-T) customers will be allowed to place at the curb, one (1) plastic non-PAY-T trash bag, up to 35 gallons, on your regularly scheduled collection day. There will be NO DELAY in collections surrounding the Christmas and New Year's holidays," the town said in a bulletin Wednesday.
