I-290 Ramp To Close For Four Nights In Shrewsbury

SHREWSBURY, MA—The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) announced that the I-290 eastbound Exit 22 off-ramp will be closed beginning at 9 p.m., Wednesday, May 2, through 5 a.m., Thursday, May 3. The closing is necessary so crews can work construction on the highway.

Traffic looking to exit I-290 eastbound at this location will be directed to utilize Exit 21 (Plantation Street, Worcester) or Exit 25B (Solomon Pond mall Road) and follow the detour signage in place.

Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution. All scheduled work is weather dependent and subject to change.
