SHREWSBURY, MA—The ramp from Main Street in Shrewsbury to I-290 westbound will be closed overnight on Friday, May 18, through the morning.
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) announced that the on-ramp from Main Street in Shrewsbury to I-290 westbound will be closed from approximately 9 p.m. until 7 a.m. on Saturday May 19, so that essential bridge work may be conducted. Traffic seeking to access I-290 westbound at this location will be directed to follow detour signs to Plantation Street in Worcester.
MassDOT encourages the public to be mindful of potential traffic impacts. Those traveling through the area should reduce speed and use caution.
