Local diners enjoy shaking hands with U.S. Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren.
U.S. Senate Candidate Elizabeth Warren, D-Cambridge, stopped by Dinky's Restaurant to meet with local diners.
Dinky's is fast becoming the political meeting ground for candidates as this is the second time this month state-wide candidates have stopped by to meet with local voters. .
Nancy Trotto of Shrewsbury says she said yes to having Elizabeth Warren visit the diner, even before she asked her son, David, owner of Dinky's. "We women have to stick together and I really wanted her to come," said Nancy, who along with about 50 people, enjoyed meeting Warren.

"I really love Elizabeth Warren—she's exactly what we need in Massachusetts. She's my girl," said Becca Brown, who not only was eating at Dinky's, but also has french toast named after her at the restaurant. "She's a straight-shooter and that's what we need."
Congressman Jim McGovern, D-Worcester, was also on hand meeting and greeting diners.
