SHREWSBURY, MA — It's a temperate Aug. 18 and you can count on the mild and dry weather sticking around, at least until the weekend.

With state primaries coming up on Sept. 1, lots of focus has been on mail-in voting. Congressman Jim McGovern called for the resignation of Postmaster General Louis DeJoy at a USPS distribution center in Shrewsbury. McGovern said President Trump was trying to "sabotage the USPS" ahead of an election where, for the first time, many Americans will vote by mail.

DeJoy presided over a seismic shakeup of the USPS, including the removal of mail-sorting machines across the country. McGovern claimed the president was using his power in office to cheat the election and that DeJoy was "systematically dismantling key USPS functions to help his boss stay in power."
