More Sewer Work In Shrewsbury This Month
Van Ness Avenue and Crane Circle are the latest spots being worked on.
SHREWSBURY, MA — As sewer system work continues in Shrewsbury, a water main cleaning company will be working at two more spots in town this week.
Construction work on Van Ness Avenue and Crane Circle will begin on Friday at 7 a.m. and end at 5 p.m., which could impact traffic in those areas.
This is part of a major project throughout Shrewsbury to repair and maintain its sewers. The work will continue through the end of July in select areas of the town.

The construction includes cleaning, testing, sealing of pipe, service connections and more, according to Shrewsbury’s Water and Sewer Division. This is being done to reduce the amount of wastewater being sent from the town to the regional Westborough Wastewater Treatment plant.
