Police Log: Assault Arrest, Several Break-Ins
The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Oct. 10
1:33 a.m.: An officer performed traffic enforcement at Boston Turnpike and Maple Avenue. Several verbal warnings were issued.
3:36 a.m.: An officer assisted in finding a juvenile that had left Lakeside Path at 2 a.m. and not been heard from. The officer was able to return the female to her home.

7:43 a.m.: A resident of Grafton Street reported a past residential and motor vehicle break-in that occurred the previous night.
10:19 a.m.: The Animal Control officer responded to Olde Colony Drive where a person reported a loose dog in the area every morning.

11:09 a.m.: Residents went in to the Shrewsbury Police Department to report fraudulent charges to their account.
11:38 a.m.: An officer from the police department responded with the Shrewsbury Fire Department to a assist a male who was stuck in an elevator on Commons Drive.
12:50 p.m.: An employee of TD Bank on Boston Turnpike reported a larceny that occurred on Sept. 17.
2:03 p.m.: Officers responded to a male who appeared to be passed out in his car the Shell station on Maple Avenue. The male was taken in to protective custody and his vehicle was towed.
3:02 p.m.: A resident reported a three-car crash on Boston Turnpike near Titi’s Nails & Beyond. Two vehicles were towed and two people were taken in to the hospital.
3:07 p.m.: Officers were advised to be on the lookout for a red Mazda pickup belonging to a male who had abandoned supervision and was serving a life sentence.
4:06 p.m.: Officers responded to a crash near Kinko’s on Boston Turnpike. No injuries were reported.
4:16 p.m.: A caller reported a suspicious phone call. The resident said the caller offered them a free health insurance card.
7:55 p.m.: A caller reported a barking dog on Spruce Street. The dog was quiet when an officer arrived.
8:07 p.m.: A resident reported a female going door to door and possibly going in to people’s mailboxes on Brookway Drive. An officer responded and spoke to the female.
8:34 p.m.: A caller from Wesleyan Street reported a campaigner at his door who refused to leave. An officer responded and spoke to both parties.
Thursday, Oct. 11
12:14 a.m.: A caller from Hapgood Way reported that she could hear a noise outside her home. Officers responded and reported that it was branches hitting the house.
6:57 a.m.: A caller from Main Street reported a suspicious male sitting in his vehicle. Officers spoke to the man who was reading the Bible and waiting for the bank to open.
11:38 a.m.: An officer reported a two-car crash at the intersection of Route 9 and Quinsigamond. No injuries were reported.
2:18 p.m.: A resident of Floral Street reported a larceny.
2:41 p.m.: A caller reported a customer at Shrewsbury Marble and Granite causing a scene. An officer responded and both people were spoken to.
3:31 p.m.: A caller reported a two-car crash near Flynn’s Truck Plaza. No injuries were reported.
3:53 p.m.: An officer reported a hit and run crash Harry’s Restaurant. A license plate number for the vehicle that left was obtained.
4:46 p.m.: The Sudbury Police Department reported three residential break-ins in the early afternoon. Officers were advised to be on the lookout for two light-skinned males in a blue Ford Focus.
6:36 p.m.: An officer responded to a two-car crash on Yorkshire Terrace. One operator was issued a citation.
6:41 p.m.: A resident reported a physical dispute on Boston Turnpike. Officers responded and arrested Shauna Gibbs, 28, of 323 Prospect St., Brockton. Gibbs was charged with assault and battery and malicious destruction of property over $250.
7:04 p.m.: An officer responded to a two-car crash at Moe’s Southwest Grill. No injuries were reported.
7:42 p.m.: A resident of Colonial Drive reported a larceny.
7:53 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Maple Avenue and Old Mill Road. The officer spoke to the elderly driver who was driving on two flat tires. The operator was transported home and the vehicle was towed.
8:15 p.m.: A caller reported a suspicious vehicle that had been parked on Bumblebee Circle from 8:25 a.m. to 9 a.m.
