Police Log: Larceny By Check, Noises in Bedroom
The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Oct. 17
7:20 a.m.: An officer informed the Massachusetts Highway Department of a trash bag on Boston Turnpike.
9:54 a.m.: A caller reported a two-car crash on Valente Drive. No injuries were reported.

2:02 p.m.: An officer from the Shrewsbury Police Department took a report of larceny by check.
4:32 p.m.: A caller reported a smashed window UMass Medical Center on South Street.

4:45 p.m.: Animal Control responded to Mercury Drive for a crow in the roadway.
4:51 p.m.: An officer responded to a two-car crash on Boston Turnpike near Friendly’s. The Shrewsbury Fire Department and medics also responded for at least one injury. Both vehicles were towed.
6:39 p.m.: An officer spoke to three youths who were hanging out near Wah-Bo Grill.
Thursday, Oct. 18
12:29 a.m.: An officer spoke to the operator of a suspicious vehicle on Holden Street. The driver was sent on their way.
1:11 a.m.: A caller from Eastwood Road said it sounded like someone was in her master bedroom. Officers responded and checked the house; the report was unfounded.
