Police Log: Lookout For Stabbing Suspects, Foot Chase
The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, Oct. 20
12:38 a.m.: An officer responded to a crash on South Street. No injuries were reported.
2:23 a.m.: Officers were told to be on the lookout for a suspect involved in a stabbing in Northborough at the Motel 6.

7:28 a.m.: Officers responded to a domestic dispute between roommates on South Street.
11:04 a.m.: The Fire Department responded to an alarm on Hilland Drive.

11:06 a.m.: A manager of Dunkin Donuts on Maple Avenue reported a possibly intoxicated female that left the restaurant. An officer responded and found the vehicle in the proper driveway.
12:42 p.m.: An officer removed a turtle from the roadway near the intersection of South Street and Floral Street.
2:05 p.m.: A caller reported that the license plate had been stolen off her vehicle.
3:38 p.m.: Officers were advised to be on the lookout for a man who was wanted for robbery at Walmart in Boylston.
3:57 p.m.: A caller from Artemas Avenue requested officer assistance in finding a new home for a dog she could no longer control.
6:28 p.m.: Officers checked the Clinton Street area for a suspicious white van with a possibly intoxicated driver. They were unable to locate the vehicle.
7:10 p.m.: An officer reported possible gunshots near Gold Street.
Sunday, Oct. 21
2:17 a.m.: An officer responded to a one-car crash near St. Anne’s Parish. After a foot chase, Alexander Galanis, 20, of 12 Nelson Way, Mansfield, was arrested. Galanis was charged with leaving the scene of property damage, resisting arrest, drunken-driving and using a motor vehicle without authority.
10:04 a.m.: A caller reported an assault on Walnut Hill Lane. Officers responded and spoke to a male and his girlfriend’s son who were arguing over a space heater.
12:09 p.m.: An officer found a tan and brown pet rabbit with long ears near the intersection of Lake Street and Boston Turnpike.
12:27 p.m.: Officers spoke to a male who had been reportedly living in a tent on Oak Street.
3:18 p.m.: An officer spoke with a group of skateboarders that took items from a lawn on Prospect Street.
3:33 p.m.: A caller reported vandalism to a house on South Quinsigamond. An officer responded and reported that the house had been paintballed.
6:14 p.m.: An officer took a report of a stolen push lawn mower from Old Mill Road.
8:08 p.m.: A 911 caller reported that he had hit a telephone pole on Spring Street. The vehicle was towed.
