Police Log: Shoplifting Arrest, Late-Night Window Cleaner
The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, Oct. 23
12:09 a.m.: An officer responded to a suspicious person on Rawson Hill Drive. The officer spoke to the person who was the homeowner cleaning their windows.
2:14 a.m.: An officer spoke to a male riding a bike on Baker Street. The male worked on Boston Turnpike.

4:52 a.m.: A caller from CVS reported shoplifting that had just occurred. Officers responded and located the suspect’s vehicle on Main Street. Wilbur D. Jennings, 45, of 1 Sturgis St., Apt 2, Worcester was arrested. Jennings was charged with larceny, possession of a class E substance, shoplifting and providing a false name to police.
11:46 a.m.: The Animal Control officer spoke with a dog owner on Minuteman Way regarding a loose dog complaint. The owner was advised of the town’s bylaw.

1:22 p.m.: The Animal Control officer attempted to speak to a resident of Baldwin Circle regarding an on-going dog complaint.
1:54 p.m.: An employee of Walgreens reported a past motor vehicle break-in.
3:17 p.m.: A caller from Artemas Avenue asked to have their dog removed. The Animal Control officer spoke with the caller and gave them a list of local shelters.
5:11 p.m.: A caller reported illegal dumping that occurred on Julio Drive. An officer followed up the incident and there was no issue.
5:25 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Ridgeland Road and South Quinsigamond. Jeffrey Senecal, 31, of 14 Canna Dr., Apt C and Philip Kargbo, 28, of 14 Canna Dr., Apt C were both arrested on warrants. In addition Senecal was charged with operating with a suspended license, operating without an attached license plate, operating an unregistered and uninsured vehicle and possession of a class E substance.
6:59 p.m.: An officer responded to a report of a suspicious person looking in to motor vehicles at Choice Auto Center. The person in question was the business owner and they were checking to make sure the vehicles were secure.
