Police: Suspicious Men With Hardhats Seen in Two Locations

Yesterday police responded to two incidents of men wearing hard hats and carrying clipboards.

Officers from the Shrewsbury Police Department responded to two reports of suspicious men in town yesterday.

The first report was at 8:53 a.m. on Casavan Drive, the second report came an hour late on Camelot Drive.

According to police reports the officers responded to "One [male] wearing a hard hat and one in a reflective vest." When the officers arrived the suspicious men had left the area although the caller had not seen a vehicle.

Officers that responded to the incident on Camelot Drive were cancelled before arriving. A detail officer had spoken to the group the previous day. 

The three men with clipboards had been reportedly going behind people's houses. They were working in the area doing research on the Asian Longhorn Beetles in town.
