Shrewsbury Dean Park Pond Closed

SHREWSBURY, MA — Shrewsbury's Dean Park Pond is closed after high levels of E. Coli were detected in the waters.

The pond will reopen after lab testing shows acceptable and safe water quality limits.

The E. Coli levels were discovered after seasonal weekly water quality monitoring of select bodies of water in Shrewsbury. Town officials encourage individuals and their pets to avoid contact with the pond, including fishing, until further notice.
