Shrewsbury Parks Department Offers Programs For All Ages
Programs include adult and youth sports plus family activities.

SHREWSBURY, MA — The Parks & Recreation Department is now accepting online registration for some of the fall programs.
New programs will be added throughout September and October based on space availability. Pre-registration is required for all of the parks & recreation programs. Space is limited
Youth Basketball League: accepting registration starting Sept. 28th for grades: Boys 3&4th, Girls 3&4th, Boys 5&6th, Girls 5&6th, Boys 7-8th, Girls 7-9th and NEW this year Boy's 9-12th league. Games are played at the Oak & Sherwood MS on Saturdays with one weeknight assigned for a team practice. Cost is $135

Skills & Drills Basketball Clinic: Tuesday evenings for grades 3&4th, and 5&6th grades at Sherwood MS Gym. Cost is $66 starting Oct. 12
Chalk it Up Halloween Theme!: Pumpkins, ghosts, black cats and haunted houses! Families are able to create funny, scary or sweet designs for everyone to see. Chalk will be supplied. Bring some painters tape or cutouts to build your work of art. Sign up the whole family. Sunday Oct. 17 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Paton School Playground Area. Free

Adult Co-Ed Volleyball: Intermediate on Mondays, advanced on Tuesdays and recreational on Thursdays. Program starts in October, website lists fees, times, dates and schedules
Social Skills Workshop: Grades 2-7th on Saturday, Oct. 16, from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Dean Park South Pavilion. Cost is $52
Restaurant Ready Workshop: Grades 2-7th on Thursday, Oct. 14, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Sherwood MS Cafe. Cost is $42
Home Safety: Ages 9 and up, Saturday, Oct. 2, from 9:30 a.m. to noon at Dean Park South Pavilion. Cost is $37
Shrewsbury Parks & Recreation must follow the current Massachusetts Covid-19 rules and guidelines:
- Please bring a mask and hand sanitizer to all indoor and outdoor programs.
- Bring your own equipment: weights/yoga mat/supplies/labeled waterbottle and snacks.
- Children or Adults who are feeling ill or have been in close contact with someone who tested positive need to follow the Covid-19 quarantine guidelines.
