Shrewsbury PD’s Adorable Comfort Pup Brings Smiles To Residents

SHREWSBURY, MA — The Shrewsbury Police Department’s newest officer is already making a big impression.

The department introduced its newest comfort dog, Blue, on Monday. Officers said the pup had a blast meeting so many families at Dean Park for Blue’s Block Party.

Blue joined the force this spring and has made special visits all around the town. She will be there to provide comfort during traumatic events.

If you didn’t get the chance to meet Blue on Monday, don't worry. Shrewsbury police said there will be more opportunities for Blue to connect with the community.
