Shrewsbury Police Complete Move To New HQ, Close Old Building
If you need to visit Shrewsbury police headquarters, don't go to the old Maple Avenue building.

SHREWSBURY, MA — The Shrewsbury police headquarters at 106 Maple Ave. has closed.
But don't worry — the new police station is very close by.
The department on Friday completed a multi-week move to the new headquarters building, which is right behind the old one along Maple Avenue.

"SPD Official Business effective immediately: All public police matters will be handled in the new Shrewsbury Police Department facility just behind the old one. Signs have been placed on the old building to announce the move. Thank you all for your patience during this time," the department said Friday.
The town broke ground on the building in September 2021. The building, about double the size of the 1971 building in use up until this week, was funded by a $42 million debt exclusion approved by voters in 2020.
