Shrewsbury Seeking 2 For Historical Commission

The historical commission has two open seats, and the town of Shrewsbury is seeking interested people to fill them.

SHREWSBURY, MA - The town of Shrewsbury is seeking two qualified individuals to serve on the historical commission.

The terms will expire on June 30, 2027, and the commission must have a minimum of three and no more than seven members. It's responsible for historical research, identifying assets and suggesting both preservation tools and coordination with officials at the local level. It also aims to strengthen the community's technical expertise and effectiveness in historical preservation.

The commission meets at 7 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month, except during July and August, at Town Hall.
