Shrewsbury Traffic Delays Expected As New Sewer Installation Gets Underway
The work is expected to continue for several weeks.
SHREWSBURY, MA — A sewer main installation could impact traffic in Shrewsbury for the next few weeks. Starting on Monday, crews will begin installing a new force sewer main on Maple Avenue.
The work will begin near 294 Maple Ave. and make its way toward Hutchins Road, according to a news release by the town’s water and sewer division.
Crews will work Monday through Friday between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The Department of Public Works is warning residents about potential traffic impacts. They are also asking those travelling through the work zone to use caution.
