Shrewsbury's Dean Park Pond Closed Again

SHREWSBURY, MA — Shrewsbury's Dean Park Pond is closed for the second time this month. Lab tests showed high levels of E. Coli. The bacteria were found during routine seasonal weekly water quality monitoring of select bodies of water in Shrewsbury.

Last week, E. Coli was found in Dean Park Pond as well and the pond was temporarily closed.

Town officials advise individuals and their pets to avoid contact with the pond, including fishing, until further notice. Dean Park Pond is located off of Main Street in Shrewsbury.
