Trash Talk: Where Are The Dirtiest Areas In Shrewsbury?

What areas in Shrewsbury could use an Earth Day cleanup the most? Shrewsbury's Earth Day cleanup is coming up.

SHREWSBURY, MA—Diapers. A bag with a half-eaten Whopper. A row of attached rubber tires. Plastic flower pots. Toys. Dental picks (that's a common one). A disco ball or a wig (we've seen both strewn about the land). In too many areas of towns and cities, litter is part of the landscape, blowing in the street, or embedded in the brush on the side of the road.

With Earth Day looming (Earth Day is April 22 this year), most towns and cities are planning their events, and annual community clean-ups.

Shrewsbury comes together to clean up the town of itsannual Earth Day event on Saturday, April 7, when the town comes together to grab bags and gloves at Dean Park. between 8-9:30 a.m. and heads out to areas to clean.
