Water Main Repairs In Shrewsbury Tonight

The Shrewsbury Water and Sewer Division will perform repairs on a water main near Boylston and Hill Streets tonight around 9 p.m.

SHREWSBURY, MA - The Shrewsbury Water and Sewer Division announced they will be performing a repair on a water main at Boylston and Hill Streets tonight, March 27.

The affected areas include:

  • Boylston Street from Hill Street to Wachusett Avenue
  • Wachusett Avenue from Route 140 to Bryant Avenue
  • Barnard Street from Rt. 140 to Deerfield Road
  • All of Rawson Place and Rolling Hill Road

Crews will start shutting water down around 9 p.m. Water service in those areas will be interrupted for 6-8 hours for repairs. Nearby residents may see discolored water due to the service interruption. Should that happen after it's is restored, run cold water from an outside spigot if possible or a downstairs faucet.
