Water Restrictions Take Effect In Shrewsbury
You've got two days a week you can wash your car during the day. And only use your sprinkler early in the morning and after 5 p.m.

SHREWSBURY, MA—Shrewsbury's Board of Selectmen determined that there's a shortage of water in town and that conservation measures are necessary.
That means that the town and the Water and Sewer Department are advising all residents that water restrictions are in effect from May 1 through Sept. 30.
Nonessential watering hours are restricted to before 9 a.m. and after 5 p.m. So when do you wash your car? Well, even numbered addresses can engage in nonessential watering on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Odd numbered houses can do so on Thursdays and Sundays.
