1) A Benefit for the Somerville Museum and A Celebration of the Emerald Isle
From the listing: "Housed in the breathtaking and historic 1 Summer Street Sanctuary Unit, which was originally the First Methodist Church, the celebration will feature live Irish music by Roseanne Santucci and friends." There will be food, drinks and a silent auction, too. It's from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
2) Coloring Book & Crayon Drive at Lincoln Tech
Bring unwrapped coloring books and crayons to Lincoln Technical Institute, and they'll be donated to Boston Children's Hospital.
3) A New Doctor in Town
Anil Gullapalli has recently joined the family practice division at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, according to an email from Harvard Vanguard. Gullapalli studied medicine at P.S.G. Institute of Medical Sciences and Research in Coimbatore, India, and he completed a family practice residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He's also a Somerville resident.

4) Boston Flower & Garden Show
Head into Boston for the flower and garden show today and this weekend. It's from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at 200 Seaport Blvd.
