Five Things: Discuss a Mystic River Park, Talk Whitey Bulger with Globe Journalists

1) Draw 7 Park Community Planning Meeting
Draw 7 Park is a 2.5-acre public space along the Mystic River near the new Assembly Row development. It's getting a major makover, and tonight's meeting will let the public voice opinions about the project. According to the listing, everyone is welcome and "dinner will be served." The meeting starts at 6 p.m. at the Cross Street Senior Center.
2) Somerville Open Studios Shopping Spree Giveaway
Eating pizza at Flatbread Company at Sacco's Bowl Haven will help support Somerville Open Studios, and it will also give you the chance to win a $100 shopping spree at Blue Cloud Gallery. Head over to the pizza restaurant at 5 p.m.
3) Globe Journalists Kevin Cullen and Shelley Murphy Talk White Bulger
Cullen and Murphy will read from their new book, "Whitey Bulger: America's Most Wanted Gangster and the Manhunt That Brought Him to Justice." The reading starts at 7 p.m. at The Book Shop. A number of events in the book take place in Somerville's Winter Hill.

4) Pi Night Celebrations
On March 14—3.14—the Somerville Mathematics Fund sponsored an event at the Kennedy School where students from around the city ate pizza pie, showed some love to circles and celebrated Pi—the number. See the photos above.
