Man Arrested in Somerville After Punching Cars, Kicking Officer
Edward Feeney allegedly punched cars, kicked an officer, resisted arrest and threatened an officer's life.

Somerville Police responded to Broadway Sreet this past Friday after they learned of a man punching cars in the area.
Upon arriving at 300 Broadway, officers spotted Edward Feeney, the suspect in question. Police say Feeney acted in a hostile manner when they attempted to question him.
Fenney was repeatedly ordered to stop, but he continued on in an aggressive fashion. Police were forced to place him in handcuffs.

The Somerville Times reports Feeney resisted arrest for several minutes before officers were able to subdue him. Fenney then allegedly threatened the life of an officer saying, “You will be dead in 253 seconds. I will make sure my brother kills you.”
Police say Feeney also kicked an officer in the shin.

The suspect was charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and assault and battery on an officer.
