Arrests made by the Somerville Police Department from April 9 to April 14. Please remember that the charges listed below do not indicate a conviction.
Assault and battery
On April 10, Charles Jean, 34, of 16 Otis St., was arrested at 220 Washington St. (the police station) and charged with statutory rape of a child and rape of a child with force. It is the policy of the Somerville Police Department not to release information about sexual assaults unless there is a threat to the public.
Other arrests
On April 11, Christopher Hicks, 24, was arrested at 10B Memorial Rd. and charged with disorderly conduct. He was also arrested on warrants for trespassing, assault and battery and disorderly conduct.

On April 12, James Shippee-Malloy, 21, of Medford, was arrested at an unknown location and charged with trespassing.
On April 14, James Killackey, 29, of Cambridge, was arrested at 282 Somerville Ave. and charged with trespassing, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

Warrant arrests
On April 9, David DeJesus, 37, of 124 Walnut St., was arrested in Cambridge on warrants for assault to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. He is accused of savagely beating a man with a baseball bat.
On April 14, Carmine Palmisano, 43, of Georgetown, was arrested on Alston St. on a warrant for driving with a suspended license.
