Police Investigating String Of Smoke Shop Robberies: Report

SOMERVILLE, MA — Three smoke shops were broken into this week in similar fashion, according to a report from WCVB NewsCenter 5.

D&K Smoke Shop in Somerville, Cambridge Smoke Shop in Cambridge, and City Smoke Shop in Boston were all pilfered on Monday night.

All three stores captured surveillance video of three people breaking in, taking items, and leaving. The robberies occurred hours apart, with the first taking place at City Smoke Shop. The people caught on the footage were described as wearing puffer coats.

The police departments from all three municipalities are now working to confirm if the incidents are connected.
