Despite his creative knack for hiding pills, Somerville Police say they’ve nailed 23-year-old Gorbatchev Romeus with a litany of drug-related charges.
These include intent to distribute class B drugs, a drug violation near a school, and possession of a stolen firearm.
According to the police report, Romeus had been suspected of dealing Percocet pills for some time. Upon executing a search warrant of his 25 River Rd. bedroom on April 16, police say they found 36 30 milligram pills believed to be Percs stashed in an XBox controller.

They also uncovered almost 50 of the same oft-abused pain killer tablets in an alarm clock, and discovered a handgun that was not only unlicensed, but reported stolen in Atlanta in 2014.
A small safe disguised as a Sprite can was also found in Romeus’s room, although the report does not specify what, if anything, was found in the Sprite safe.

Romeus apparently had a habit of parking his BMW - in which police say they found 11 more pills after its seizure - in the Healey School lot, hence the violation-near school charge.
He was pulled over and placed into custody at around 11:30 a.m., before police searched his room.
