Somerville Expanding Coronavirus Testing Options
Somerville Hospital will begin accepting non-Cambridge Health Alliance patients, and a satellite location will open in East Somerville.
SOMERVILLE, MA — Somerville announced expanding testing options for the coronavirus Monday. This will happen in three phases – drive-thru testing at Somerville Hospital is opening to non-Cambridge Health Alliance patients, followed by walk-ups and bicyclists in the Crown Street parking lot and the opening of a satellite location in East Somerville.
The Somerville Hospital site will be open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Testing will be done by appointment only. Click here for information about making an appointment by phone.
Additionally, the city announced a partnership with Cherish Health to use biosensors and services to detect and respond to health risks for veterans living at the Massachusetts Bay Veterans Center in Somerville.
