A ghastly scene unfolded in Cambridge this weekend, as authorities say they found disembodied pieces of 26-year-old Jonathan Camilien, of Somerville, in multiple locations, including the apartment of Cambridge resident Carlos Colina.

According to a report from CBS, Camilien’s torso and limbs were discovered in a duffel bag in front of a Kendall Square building, upon a police investigation of a suspicious package. Surveillance footage, allegedly showing Colina dropping off the bag at 4 a.m. Saturday, led authorities to his apartment.

“Detectives are continuing to analyze evidence and await information for the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, so that we may determine if additional charges are warranted,” said District Attorney Marian Ryan, in a statement.

CBS also notes that neighbors say they overheard Colina arguing with a man resembling Camilien Friday night, and while authorities say Colina and Camilien knew each other, they haven’t explained the nature of their relationship. Colina maintains his innocence, and is being held on a $1 million cash bail.
