Somerville Offering Numerous Fall Flu Shot Clinics

The city will hold seven clinics in different locations throughout October and November.

SOMERVILLE, MA — The city’s Department of Health and Human Services is holding three flu shot vaccination clinics throughout October and November.

Seven individual clinics are slated to take place throughout the next 30 days, at different locations. The free clinics will all offer flu and COVID-19 vaccinations for anyone aged six months and older, with the high-dose of the flu shot also being offered for residents aged 65 and older.

The first clinic is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 21 at the Council on Aging on 167 Holland St. It is slated to begin at 2:30 p.m. and last until 4 p.m. The second will be held at the West Branch Library on 40 College Ave. on Monday, Oct. 27 beginning at 5 p.m. The clinics will resume eight days later on the morning of Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 11:30 a.m. at the Tufts Administration Building on 167 Holland St. The Office of Immigrant Affairs located at 42 Cross St. is the next host of the event on Thursday, Nov. 6 beginning at 10:30 a.m. On Thursday, Nov. 13 the City Hall Annex on 50 Evergreen Ave. will be offering shots for more than five hours beginning at 1 p.m. The clinic will return to the Council on Aging on Tuesday, Nov. 18 for another 90-minute window beginning at 2:30 p.m. before the season concludes on Nov. 20 at the West Branch Library once again at 3:30 p.m.
