With temperatures in the 90s forecast for the entire week, the city has opened cooling centers where residents can get away from the heat.
According to a Facebook post from the city, cooling centers will be open at:
- Ralph and Jenny Center, 9 New Washington St.—Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Holland Street Center, 167 Holland St.—Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
