Somerville Police Identify Suspects, Victims In Mystic Ave. Shooting
On Thursday, police executed a search warrant at a home in Dorchester and took four people into custody.

SOMERVILLE, MA — Somerville police have identified two juvenile victims and two suspects involved in a shooting at 460 Mystic Avenue, said the department in a news release.
On Monday, May 1 at approximately 10:15 p.m., police received numerous 911 calls for shots fired on Mystic Avenue. Upon police arrival, neither suspects nor victims were present, and police have been working ever since to identify those who were involved.
On Thursday, police executed a search warrant at a home in Dorchester and took Teijhere Palmer, 20 and a juvenile into custody, said the department. Both are facing charges including possession of a firearm, armed assault with intent to murder, and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling.

Police said they also arrested Devonte Bowden, 24, who is charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition, and Laurian Slaughter, 45, of Dorchester, who is charged with unlawful possession of firearm and possession of a large capacity feeding device.
During the search, police also recovered four illegally possessed firearms, one of which was capable of firing in a fully automatic mode.
