Somerville Residential Fire Leaves Home Uninhabitable

The fire department responded to Ossipee Road at approximately 2 p.m. Monday.

SOMERVILLE, MA — The fire department knocked down a residential fire on 38 Ossipee Road Monday afternoon that resulted in no injuries.

According to District Chief Matthew Wall, the home was occupied by seven residents at the time when the blaze occurred on the third floor. The damage has left the home uninhabitable moving forward, and the fire’s cause remains under investigation.

The Cambridge Fire Department also assisted in putting out the fire.
