Somerville Residents Urged To Lock Doors After Multiple Break-Ins

Police say the break-ins occurred between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m. at first-floor apartments with unlocked windows.

SOMERVILLE, MA — Somerville police are urging residents to lock their windows and doors after a series of break-ins in the area of Beacon Street near the Cambridge line.

Police say the break-ins occurred between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m. at first-floor apartments with unlocked windows.

Residents are asked double check that their homes are secured overnight and call police if they see anything unusual in their neighborhood, such as loitering or other suspicious behavior.
