Wheelchair-Bound Passenger Robbed on MBTA Bus
Somerville Police are spreading the word about a nasty larceny in Cambridge last week.

A man on a Route 1 MBTA bus robbed a fellow passenger who is confined to a wheelchair last week, according to the MBTA Transit Police, and authorities are enlisting the public’s help in tracking down their suspected perp.
As relayed via the Somerville Police Department’s Twitter, the act occurred around 3:00 p.m. on Monday, March 23. Police released a security photo of the alleged pilferer, who they say jumped off the bus and fled at the Massachusetts Avenue/Sidney Street stop in Cambridge.

Transit Police say their suspected abuser of the differently-abled is a 5-foot-4 Hispanic male, and was clad in a black hoodie, black leather jacket, jeans, and a black facemask at the time of the incident, and anyone with information on their suspect can call 617-222-1050.
