Hoodied 'Old Man' Robs Video Game Store In Stoneham: Police

Stoneham Police said the GameStop in Redstone was robbed by a male wearing an old man's mask and showing a knife.

STONEHAM, MA — Police are investigating the armed robbery of a video game store by someone wearing an old man mask Monday afternoon.

Stoneham Police Chief James McIntyre said a male entered the GameStop in Redstone Shopping Center shortly after noon and demanded money from the store clerk behind the register. The suspect showed a knife, police said.

The person fled east toward toward Five Guys and north toward Dunkin' in the area of Westwood Avenue and Governor Road, police said.

No one was injured.

The suspect was wearing a gray sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and white sneakers.
