Best Of: Patch Readers Pick Friday’s as Best Place to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Stoughton

St. Patrick’s Day—March 17—is on a Saturday this year, but Stoughton residents voted to celebrate at Friday’s.

After a week of voting, Stoughton Patch readers have selected on Hawes Way (near Target) as the .

This poll continued a “Best Of” series that allows readers to vote for their favorite businesses and places in Stoughton.

In what was a close race all week, Friday’s pulled away at the end, finishing with 35 percent of the vote. on Pearl St. (near the Canton line) came in second with 25 percent of the vote. on Washington St. came in third with 19 percent of the vote.

The poll opened Monday morning and closed Friday morning. Almost 300 votes were cast.

Friday’s offers drinks, appetizers, entrees, and desert. According to the Friday’s website, Guinness will be served as well as a special Irish ‘Rita, in addition to other beverages, on St. Patrick’s Day.
