"Five Things you Need to Know This Weekend" is the weekend version of the Patch column "Five Things You Need to Know Today." The weekend edition provides readers with essential information for both Saturday and Sunday.
1. Sports on Tap
* The boys' and girls' indoor track Hockomock League Championships start Saturday at 8:45 a.m. at the Reggie Lewis Center.

* The varsity girls' basketball team travels to Hingham on Saturday for a 1 p.m. matinee. The freshmen team plays at 10 a.m. and the J.V. team plays at 11:30 a.m.
* The Stoughton High varsity hockey team plays North Attleboro at 2:30 p.m. at the Asiaf Rink in Brockton.

* The Stoughton Youth Travel Basketball League has a full slate of games scheduled Sunday at the gym:

8:30 a.m. - 4th grade boys vs. Milford
9:50 a.m. - 4th grade girls vs. Canton
11:10 a.m. - 5th grade girls vs. Westwood
12:30 p.m. - 7th grade boys vs. Franklin
1:50 p.m. - 8th grade boys vs. Seekonk
2. Youth Baseball Registration
Stoughton Youth Baseball registration is currently underway and is open until February 13. Click here to register. If you do not have internet access, you can sign up at the this Saturday, February 12, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.
Meanwhile Stoughton Babe Ruth Baseball registration is Sunday at the Sons of Italy on Route 138 from 8:30a.m. until 11 a.m. Children 13-15 are eligible to play.
3. Change Your Oil For a Good Cause--On Saturday's in February have your oil changed at Windsor Tire or Island Street Auto and they will donate $10 to the "Doin' It For Diane" fundraiser for the Stoughton Food Pantries.
4. Entertainment in Stoughton:
Production of at the Saturday and Sunday
The Little Theatre of Stoughton will be presenting "Annie" at the West School from February 11-13. Shows are at 7:30 p.m. There is a 1 p.m. matinee on Saturday and Sunday as well.
Tickets are $17 for adults; $12 students/seniors. Tickets are available online at www.littletheatreofstoughton.org.
Boston Baked Blues at ATC on Saturday
featuring Vinny Serino and special guest John Putnam will be performing at the Saturday at 7 p.m. Beer, wine, snacks and deserts will be available for purchase. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.
Malt Shop Memories this Saturday at the
Come see classic hits of the 50's and 60's with The Starliners as your singing waitstaff. Arrival for dinner is 6:45 p.m. with live dinner music at 7:45 p.m. Cost is $10 plus your dinner entree, ranging from $12.95 to $21.95. Call to reserve your table at 781-297-SHOW.
