The Stoughton/Sharon League of Women Voters and the Stoughton Chamber of Commerce present a Candidates’ Night on Wednesday, March 14, at 7 p.m. at the (3rd Floor, Great Hall).

School Committee candidates include Allan Mills (incumbent) and former member Dr. Erdem Ural. include incumbents John Anderson and Cynthia Walsh, former member Joe Mokrisky and Bob O’Regan.
The moderator is Patch About Town columnist Mark Snyder. Refreshments (sponsored by the Stoughton Chamber, and supplied by Catering by Linda) will be served at 6:30 p.m. Come down and bring a question for the candidates!
2. Auction of Town-Owned Land
Stoughton will be holding an auction of four town-owned land parcels on Wednesday, March 14, starting at 10 a.m.

3. Stoughton High Parent-Teacher Conferences
On March 14, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., will hold its March Open House. This is the only Open House in the Spring, so it is for all families regardless of last name.
4. Reminder: Kindergarten Registration
On Thursday, March 15, registration for Kindergarten will be conducted in all elementary school districts. A child may accompany the parent at the time of registration, but it is not necessary.
The hours for registration are 9-11 a.m. and 1-2 p.m. at your district school.
When you register in March, please bring your child's birth certificate, any official health records that you possess and TWO documents showing proof of residency. Proof of residency must include a current lease or mortgage payment slip and a current utility bill.

5. Reminder: Thursday is Food Pantry Day in Stoughton
Stoughton resident Peg Carbone continues her effort to curb hunger in Stoughton, personally picking up donations for the food pantries every Thursday.
Here's a note from Peg: "I pick up non perishable food and also household items every Thursday, anywhere in Stoughton and deliver them to the food pantry. Please tell your friends and neighbors. One item, one bag or several, and I will pick them up every Thursday."
