1. Senior Class Fundraiser

The Stoughton High Senior Class (Class of 2012) is holding a fundraiser at the Cobb’s Corner Five Guys on Thursday, March 22 from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m.

A portion of your receipt will be donated to the Senior Class. No flyer is needed.

2. Thursday is Food Pantry Day in Stoughton

Stoughton resident Peg Carbone continues her effort to curb hunger in Stoughton, personally picking up donations for the food pantries every Thursday.

Here's a note from Peg: "I pick up non perishable food and also household items every Thursday, anywhere in Stoughton and deliver them to the food pantry. Please tell your friends and neighbors. One item, one bag or several, and I will pick them up every Thursday."

3. Converse with a Nurse

Every Thursday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at  on the 2nd Floor, meet Stoughton Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) nurses and ask health-related questions and discuss your concerns.

4. Winter Parking Regulations

It may be spring, but Winter Parking Regulations are currently in effect, and will continue until April 1, 2012.

There is no overnight street parking allowed between the hours of 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. from December 1 to April 1.

There is a $15 fine for violating the winter parking ban and the vehicle is subject to be towed at the owner's expense.

5. Looking Ahead: Stoughton Music Department presents 2012 Singers Night featuring Hawkapella

The Stoughton Schools Music Department will present their 2012 Singers Night on Friday March 23.

The concert will feature the OMS Choir under the direction of Betty Bauman and the SHS Choirs under the direction of Griffin Coombs. 

Special guest artists from the University of Hartford, the Hawkapella acapella choir, will also perform.

The concert will be held in the and begin at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets will be available at the door only—adults $5, seniors and children $3, with a family maximum of $10.
