Thursday, March 29 at 7 p.m. in the Wales French Room of the , come listen to Men of Color To Arms, a unique look at the 54th Regiment, the first northern black regiment to fight in the Civil War.
Their bravery and heroism in battle paved the way for more than 180,000 African Americans to serve in the Union Army, helping to secure victory and the end of slavery in the United States.

This presentation will be jointly led by: Sgt. Emmett Bell-Sykes, Pres., 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry, Co. A and Ryan McNabb, National Park Ranger, Boston African American National Historic Site.
2. Thursday is Food Pantry Day in Stoughton
Stoughton resident Peg Carbone continues her effort to curb hunger in Stoughton, personally picking up donations for the food pantries every Thursday.
Here's a note from Peg: "I pick up non perishable food and also household items every Thursday, anywhere in Stoughton and deliver them to the food pantry. Please tell your friends and neighbors. One item, one bag or several, and I will pick them up every Thursday."

3. Stoughton Historical Society Food Drive
During the month of March, the will be collecting and matching donations of non-perishable food or money to be divided between Stoughton's two food pantries.
They are open Tuesdays, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Thursday evenings from 5-8 p.m.
4. Sports on Tap
Stoughton High spring sports get underway as the travels to Norton at 3:30 p.m. for its season-opener. The boys' and girls' outdoor track teams host Randolph at 3:30 p.m. and the SHS baseball team hosts a scrimmage against Milton at 3:30 p.m.
5. Converse with a Nurse
Every Thursday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at on the 2nd Floor, meet Stoughton Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) nurses and ask health-related questions and discuss your concerns.
