Kohl's Closing 1 MA Store This Weekend: Here's Where
The local closure is one of 27 across the country for the chain.

STOUGHTON, MA — One Massachusetts town is losing a longtime department store this weekend as part of a national chain's effort to shutter underperforming stores.
Kohl's department store is shutting down 27 locations nationwide as part of a cost-cutting measure, including one Massachusetts location, the company announced in January.
That includes the Stoughton store, 501 Technology Center Dr.

All employees were "offered a competitive severance package or the ability to apply to other open roles" within the company, according to Kohl's.
The department store still has 24 locations open across Massachusetts.
