More than a Dozen Arrested in Stoughton Over the Weekend

The following information was provided by the Stoughton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

It was a busy weekend for the Stoughton Police Department.

Officers in town arrested 15 individuals between Friday and Sunday on various charges stemming from assault and batter to disorderly conduct, Stoughton Police said in a statement Monday.

One of those arrested was 23-year-old Alfredo Rose, a Stoughton man arrested for driving on a suspended license and arrested on seven warrants from different jurisdictions. He was also charged for possession of heroin and oxycodone, according to police.

Stoughton police revealed the details of several other incidents on Monday, which are as follows:

On Friday, Aug. 22, Stoughton officers responded to a call from Wendy’s regarding a man who had been trying to smash through the drive-thru window. The suspect was reportedly cursing at the restaurant’s employees, when he began striking the window after not being served. Officers arrested Tahreek Leslie, 22, of Roxbury, on a warrant as well as for disorderly conduct and furnishing a false name to police.

On Sunday, Aug. 24, Stoughton, Randolph and Massachusetts State Police responded to a report of a brawl on Willow Street in Stoughton; several individuals were asked to leave a house party in the area which reportedly led to the fight. Officers arrested Yanita Pomales, 27, of Stoughton, on charges of assault and battery in the presence of an officer; Nikita Wilkins, 25, of Brockton on charges of assault and battery in the presence of an officer; and Angel Webber, 35, of Weymouth, charged with assault and battery with a broken bottle and possession of a Class B drug (cocaine).

Also on Sunday, Aug. 24, Stoughton police received several calls that a man was being beaten by four others in the middle of the road on Porter Street. Officers responded to a residence of the road into which the suspects reportedly fled, and tried to speak with them. After investigating the incident, police determined the victim’s sneakers and cell phone had been stolen, but officers recovered the items within the residence. Officers subsequently arrested Joshua Berry-Henry, 19, of Randolph and charged him with unarmed robbery, conspiracy and resisting arrest; Shaquille Evens, 19, of Randolph, on charges of unarmed robbery, conspiracy and resisting arrest; Tayvon Harper, 20, of Stoughton, charged with unarmed robbery, conspiracy, knowingly misleading police and resisting arrest; and Gregory Robinson, 18, of Stoughton, charged with unarmed robbery, conspiracy and resisting arrest.
