Parent-Child Home Program Openings Available in Stoughton
The two-year program is free to participating parents and their children.

For its third year in session, the Parent-Child Home Program will resume this fall through Stoughton Public Schools.
The aim of the program is to help parents prepare their young children for later success in school. Children aged between 16 months and 2.5 years old are eligible for the program, Stoughton school officials said this week.
The next group program is set to begin in October, and there is no cost to parents who decide to participate. The program is a two-year commitment that follows the Stoughton Public School calendar.

As part of the program, parents and their children are visited twice a week at their homes by a Parent-Child Home Visitor, who brings gifts of books and toys as program materials. The HV also demonstrates ways to use the gifts for educational benefit to children, according to school officials.
