After spending the last couple of months researching, hypothesizing, experimenting and collecting and analyzing data, about a third of the SHS student body took part in the 54th Annual Science Fair held over the past two Wednesdays at the school.

Judging of the various projects took place on February 29, with an open house, engineering competition and awards ceremony held on March 7.

About 375 students took part in this year’s Science Fair. First place winners in the 14 judging categories received a Prone Family Foundation Award for Excellence in Science. The second place winners in the research project events also received Prone Awards.
