Police Log: Taunton Man Charged with OUI After Sunday Car Crash
The following information was provided by the Stoughton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Thursday, Sept. 18
At 12:14 a.m., police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of the CAPP Playground on Pierce Street, where they arrested Dwan Lamarr Billingslea, 27, of Stoughton, on a warrant.
At 2:11 p.m., police received a report of a shoplifter at Sally Beauty Supply Co. on Park Street.

At 7:30 p.m., police responded to Lowe Avenue, where they arrested Karen Overstreet, 43, of Stoughton, on a warrant.

At 7:50 p.m., an employee of IKEA reported that someone payed with a potentially counterfeit $20 bill.
At 8:39 p.m., a caller reported that someone had stolen a laptop and other items from a vehicle while parked at Stop and Shop on Washington Street.
Saturday, Sept. 20
At 2:16 a.m., a woman reported to police that a pack of coyotes were in the area of Simpson and Cushing streets and that they had attacked her dog about a week prior. Stoughton Animal Control was notified.
At 5:01 a.m., a caller reported to police that she struck a deer while near Bay Stat Ford on Washington Street.
At 9:39 a.m., police responded to Curtis Avenue on a report of two females fighting in the street. Officers arrested Cassandra Pierre, 24, and Sandra Pierre, 24, both of Stoughton on charges of domestic assault and battery and disorderly conduct.
At 4:11 p.m., police issued a summons to a Canton woman for larceny of more than $250.
Sunday, Sept. 21
At 1:19 a.m., police received a report of a motor vehicle accident in front of Roche Bros. on the Stoughton-Easton line. The vehicle reportedly flipped over in the roadway, and Easton police and fire crews responded to the scene. The accident reportedly occurred in Stoughton but the vehicle ended on the Easton side. Police subsequently arrested Matthew Barret, 20, of Taunton, for operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and operating a vehicle with a suspended registration.
At 2:41 p.m., police issued a summons to a Brockton man for domestic assault, kidnapping and intimidating a witness.
At 6:48 p.m., a caller reported that it appeared someone tried to break into their residence on Jackson Court. Officers responded to investigate.
Tuesday, Sept. 23
At 11:58 a.m., police arrested James McMenimon, 52, of Stoughton, on a warrant.
Wednesday, Sept. 24
At 1:56 a.m., Stoughton police pulled a vehicle over in the area of Washington and School streets, where they issued a summons to a Woonsocket, Rhode Island man for driving with no inspection sticker and driving without a license.
At 2:40 p.m., a caller reported to police that a hit-and-run accident occurred Monday in the Stop & Shop parking lot.
At 4:03 p.m., a caller reported that someone had damaged a vehicle with rocks and wood in the area of JB’s Auto, Inc. before leaving the area.
At 4:13 p.m., police pulled a vehicle over on Wyman Street, where they arrested Philip Blain, 34, of Stoughton on a warrant as well as on charges of driving with a suspended license and taking an improper left turn. Police also issued a summons to a 36-year-old Stoughton woman for knowingly allowing unlicensed operation of a vehicle.
At 7:09 p.m., police arrested Javonte Britt, 21, of Stoughton, on a warrant, as well as on charges of operating with a suspended license, driving a vehicle not meeting RMV safety standards, non transparent window obstructions and failure to appear upon recognizance.
At 6:42 p.m., a caller reported finding five hypodermic needles in her driveway on Wyman Street.
