Rollover Crash in Stoughton Sends Driver to Hospital

The Stoughton Fire Department responded to a single car accident Thursday evening on Sumner St. in Stoughton.

A single car accident Thursday evening in Stoughton required the driver to be transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston via MedFlight.

The responded to a rollover on Sumner St. at the intersection with Ryan Rd. just before 7 p.m. on April 5, Stoughton Fire Captain Doug Campbell said.

The Jaws of Life were needed to extract the driver, the lone occupant in the vehicle.

The driver was transported via ambulance to the nearby Goddard Hospital parking lot on Sumner St., where there is a MedFlight landing zone behind the building, and then taken to Beth Israel via MedFlight.
