Monday, March 12 was officially Girl Scout Day in Stoughton in honor of the organization's . Sixth grader Victoria Tucker, a cadette with Troop 80378 in Stoughton,  to ask the Board to recognize the Girl Scout centennial. The Board unanimously declared March 12 as Girl Scout Day in Stoughton. Monday evening Stoughton Girl Scouts got together at the in town and celebrated this milestone birthday. At 7:12 p.m. the Girl Scouts made a Friendship Circle and all recited the Girl Scout Promise and Law.  Stoughton resident and historian David Allen Lambert was the guest speaker and shared what Stoughton was like 100 years ago.
