Stoughton High School's junior varsity lacrosse team is set to kick off its official first season next spring, but the team is currently working towards raising $20,000 needed to cover the costs associated with building the program.To help raise funds for the team, the Stoughton LAX Committee and league parents are hosting a parent night out fundraiser on in an effort to move closer to the goal.The fundraiser is set for Sept. 20 at 7p.m. at <a href="http://sociedadefilarmonicadesaojoao.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Sociedade Filarmonica De Sao Joao</a>, 845 Washington St. in Stoughton.The event will feature food, a silent auction and raffle prizes. Tickets to the event cost $20 each.For more information or to donate a raffle or silent auction item, contact Maureen Huminik at 781-341-9107.
